Dealer Notes

For those seeking compact-car dimensions, price and fuel economy in a SUV-like form, the 2019 Honda HR-V pushes all the right buttons. Loaded with features and now with more trim choices and options, the HR-V offers more passenger volume than the Mazda CX-3, better fuel economy than the Chevy Trax or Jeep Renegade and, unlike the Nissan Kicks and Toyota C-HR, the option of all-wheel drive. Clever features like the HR-V's rear Magic Seat provide more cargo-carrying capacity than one might envision, while new driver-assist safety systems make the HR-V all the more attractive this year. Sadly, the manual-transmission option is no more, a feature you can still find on a Subaru Crosstrek.

I have owned this car since May 2017, I have driven from GA to Ohio twice, IL and IN once. And have been in TN twice. This vehicle is very comfortable and after previously driving a Corolla I find that sitting higher helps a lot with the headlights blinding me. I have always owned smaller cars and didnt want a big SUV/Crossover. This is the perfect size for me. Also the additional storage space within the vehicle is awesome.
  • The vehicle is worth of purchase price.

I own 2019 all wheel drive Honda HR-V LX. It is spacious, comfortable, has excellent visibility field around, carries advanced and useful electronic features, drives smmothly. Slow acceleration because of seemingly heavy body and weak engine. The AC unit takes unusually long to cool the vehicle interior. What issues the future will bring remains to be seen. Overall, satisfied.
  • Honda NOT reliable as in past!

Just had car into dealer, needs transmission replaced for the SECOND time. First one went at 21k, this one at 51k. Not in the least bit happy. Other than this issue like the car for the ride, mileage, ability to haul stuff around.
